Armchair Travel meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 10:00 in the Roof Garden at the Valley

The Armchair Travel talk given by Meg Clark in September covered her trips to Perth and Melbourne in Australia, Edinburgh and Cardiff in Scotland for two Six Nations rugby matches and Madeira, where driving on the wrong side of their narrow, winding, picturesque roads was a challenge. The holiday ended with a nerve racking trip to catch their flight home when Heathrow Airport was partially closed due to a fire.  

On the 5th May, long distance walker, Elsabé Beard presented 'The Camino Frances' - a pilgrimage walking from the foot of the Pyrenees in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
